An emotional advisory and prayer ceremony was held for the 2026 Dakhil examinees at the historic religious institution, Jamirtoli Darus Sunnah Islamia Senior Alim Madrasa, located in Chandraganj, Lakshmipur. The event was marked by heartfelt moments as the examinees extended floral greetings and sincere congratulations to the invited guests, teachers, and fellow participants.
The programme took place on Thursday (April 16, 2026) at 11:00 AM at the central Jame Mosque of Shah Wali Ullah Islamic Center within the madrasa premises.
Najmus Sa’dat Ahmed, Chairman of Shah Wali Ullah Islamic Center Bangladesh and Orphans Shelter Foundation UK, attended the programme as the chief guest. Mufti Sayed Abdus Salam, Executive Member of Shah Wali Ullah Islamic Center Bangladesh and President of Muslim Ummah Bangladesh, was present as the special guest.
The prayer session (dua and munajat) was conducted by Alhaj Hafez Mawlana Khaled Saifullah, former principal of the madrasa. The ceremony was presided over by Principal Hafez Mawlana Md. Nasir Uddin Al Kamal. Overall supervision was carried out by Mawlana Md. Abdul Odud Patwari, Secretary of Shah Wali Ullah Islamic Center Bangladesh and Senior Arabic Teacher of the madrasa.
Vice Principal Mawlana Md. Kafil Uddin delivered a speech. Among others present were Assistant Professor Mohammad Foyez Ahmed (Arabic), Assistant Professor Md. Mamunur Rashid (Zillur Rahim College), Lecturer Md. Nazrul Islam (Bangla), Lecturer Mohammad Farhad (Arabic), and Lecturer Mohammad Masudur Rahman (Arabic).
The event, moderated by Assistant Professor A.H.M. Helalur Rahman, was attended both directly and indirectly by Assistant Professor Mohammad Fakrul Islam, Mathematics teacher BSc Abdus Sattar, senior journalist and ICT teacher Mohammad Kamal Uddin, senior physical education teacher Mohammad Zahirul Islam, Arabic teacher Mawlana Md. Maksudur Rahman, mathematics teacher Kazi Abdul Mannan, Assistant Mawlavi Nazmus Sakib, and Md. Abdullah.
Female faculty members, including senior teachers Mariam Begum (Bangla), Shahin Akter (Agriculture), Mihira Afroz (Social Science), and Assistant Teacher Sanjida Akter Suchi (English), were also present, along with other teachers.
In his speech, the chief guest said, “Success is inevitable if you pursue your studies with sincerity, perseverance, and trust in Allah. Through your results, the reputation of this madrasa will spread further at home and abroad.”
The special guest stated, “One must make the highest effort to acquire knowledge. Even a small piece of paper can be a source of learning if one has the right mindset.”
The atmosphere became deeply emotional as the examinees sought forgiveness from their teachers and requested prayers for their success.
In his speech, the principal mentioned that students of Jamirtoli Alim Madrasa have earned recognition by studying at renowned national universities as well as internationally reputed institutions such as Madinah University and Al-Azhar University in Egypt. He expressed hope that the current students would continue this proud legacy.
The programme included guidance, advice, and special prayers for the success of the Dakhil examinees. It concluded with a special munajat led by former principal Mawlana Khaled Saifullah, followed by the distribution of tabarruk among the attendees.
